Gerresheimer has released a new eco-friendly packaging design for deodorant

Gerresheimer is an innovative systems and solutions provider, as well as a global partner to the pharma, biotech and cosmetics industry. They have created a new and innovative design for deodorant packaging.

This new design is made up of a set that includes a Gerresheimer glass jar, along with a forewood bio-based closure. This new packaging has been manufactured so that it is 100% organic and completely plastic-free. Gerresheimer designed this packaging specifically for 4peoplewhocare’s deodorant cream and this new development will be showcased at the Vivaness tradeshow in Germany.

4peoplewhocare’s deodorant cream contains effective, organic and natural ingredients, making the product itself environmentally friendly. Plus, the deodorant cream is now also packaged in an environmentally friendly and sustainable form of packaging. This packaging design involves a 100% recyclable glass jar, that contains a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) glass, which is provided by Gerresheimer. The finishing touch is a bio-based forewood closure from rezemo GmbH, which matches the glass. This combination of innovative packaging, which is eco-friendly and sustainable, highlights the company’s commitment to being better for the environment, through their environmental awareness and sustainable development. Whilst the packaging design they have selected also maintains consumer satisfaction, through keeping their product available and ensuring it is presented in an aesthetically pleasing way. This packaging choice also portrays the cosmetic industry’s growing interest in more sustainable options for packaging solutions.
