Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) had its beginning in 1922, when the University of Lithuania and its technical faculties were established. The University continues to pursue sustainable partnership of science, business, and industry, develops and implements new ideas, innovations and inventions.
KTU is one of research, development, and innovation (R&D&I) leaders in Lithuania. Each year, the organization allocates
resources towards research in innovative fields with the goal of applying the resulting knowledge and technological solutions to
benefit both businesses and society. KTU National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre (NIEC) unites the activities of the integrated science, studies and business centres (valleys) “Santaka” and “Nemunas”.
It aims to create appropriate conditions for provision of research services to business and industry through a one-stop-shop approach while encouraging collaboration between science and business.
KTU successfully cooperates with Lithuanian and foreign companies, public institutions, and other organisations. We invite companies to join KTU “INVESTed” by investing in the most talented students, modern study environment and cutting-edge research.
